The 300 square meter Private Penthouse sits above the lush tree line of the Botanical Gardens, 20km from Guangzhou’s city centre. The residence was pared back to its original structure, creating a blank canvas.

Inspired by the curvatures of the architecture and tones of nature – the penthouse vision was born. The fluidity of form and curves are present in the structure, custom-furniture and finishes.

Every part of the interior crafted of refined materials; oak, bronze, leather and silk, is treated with simplicity. This luxurious residence’s sense of harmony and peace was elevated by the openness of space, allowing light and air to circulate freely.

Wilma juxtaposed the two main colours of the interior; brushed light oak and Hermès orange, asserting that both colours can equally contrast and complement. Through this careful application of colour, Wilma has given the private penthouse real character.

A dining area to lift the spirits and inspire calm.

The room is softened by texture and enlivened by shape and colour.
